Balik Kampung SG60: Celebrating 60 Years of Nationhood with Unicorn and Pegasus

Balik Kampung SG60 Edition

Celebrating 60 Years of Singapore’s Nationhood with Unicorn

As Singapore turned 60 in 2025, Unicorn was proud to welcome our valued guests and partners to a very special edition of Balik Kampung SG60. The celebration, held on Sunday, 3 August 2025, was a day filled with nostalgia, culture, and meaningful connections.

Highlights of the Day

Guests stepped into the kampung spirit with a wide range of activities that brought joy to families and friends:

  • Guzheng Performance – the melodic tunes of this traditional Chinese instrument filled the air
  • Photo Booth – everyone captured memories with loved ones in a nostalgic setting
  • Nostalgic Fun Corner – a chance to relive the good old days of kampung life
  • Tattoo & Face Painting – fun for the young and young-at-heart
  • Handicraft Workshops – participants created unique keepsakes with their own hands
  • Speaker Sessions – thought-provoking talks that inspired reflection and learning

Speaker Sessions

The curated talks covered practical life insights for today’s world:

  • Finding Money You Never Knew You Had
  • Will Singapore Property Always Appreciate in Value?
  • The Final Place of Planning: Why Every Adult Needs a Will
  • TCM Tips for Everyday Aches

Among these sessions, we were especially honored to have Adrian See, our Founder and leader of Pegasus Property, as a guest speaker. Adrian shared his insights on “Will Singapore Property Always Appreciate in Value?” — a timely topic for anyone interested in understanding Singapore’s property landscape. Guests gained valuable knowledge, market updates, and practical perspectives to make informed decisions.

The event was more than just a celebration. It was an opportunity for the Unicorn family and our partners to come together, exchange ideas, and strengthen the bonds that make our community special. At Unicorn, we believe that connections built on trust and shared experiences will continue to drive us forward.

Together, we marked this milestone occasion with culture, learning, and togetherness, celebrating Singapore’s 60th National Day the kampung way.
